Valentines Day a missed opportunity for Perfume Gifts
Duh, I missed the boat on this one!
I did plan on writing a post about gifts for valentines day and how perfume might have fitted in with all that, I was going to research the whole valentine gig and make it one of those informational type posts with lots of info and ideas on what to do, what to buy and all that stuff. But…yeah . I messed up and didn’t get around to it. See, I’ve been too busy with my day job really. My life has suddenley gotten busier, I’m spending time on trains commuting, at work for 10 hours a day, getting home, dealing with my kids, feeding them, getting them home and well, I just don’t seem to have as much time on my hands as I’d like. I think I need to find something nearer to home.
Still, getting back on topic I guess there’s no harm asking what others got up toso, what about you, did you get anything nice for Valentines day? What did you buy your loved one? What did they get you? Did you both go out somewhere nice, or did you have a nice night in together? Heck, maybe you are single even! Did you try and woo any honey’s? Or flutter those lids at a beau perhaps?
I won’t talk about my relationship status as it’s kind of complicated - what I can share is that I bought my daughter a £10 mobile phone credit and then called her to let her know about it. She was very pleased to say the least. It’s nice to be so easily pleased dont you think? We could all learn a lesson or two from our children.
I wondered in general what others around the world had done so decided to look at the blogosphere. The blogosphere is a great way of getting in touch with what others are doing worldwide, it’s surprising how similar we all are really.According to these guys some girl named Hayden went out for dinner with her little brother (awww). Dawn had a good time of it (double awww), Lauren and her BF did something nice (awwww) and some guy named Lorenzo was perhaps just hoping to get something nice!
Heh, seems New Yorkers were encouraged to ‘get some’. I’ll leave you to decide, of what exactly!
NEW YORK CITY – February 13, 2008 – Staying safe in New York City just got even sexier. The Health Department today unveiled a brand new look for the NYC Condom and launched a cutting-edge media campaign to encourage New Yorkers to “get some.” Tomorrow, street teams will meet commuters at busy crossroads around the city – including Union Square in Manhattan, the Atlantic Avenue station in Brooklyn, and 149th Street and Grand Concourse in the Bronx – to hand out the new NYC Condom for Valentine’s Day.
